Long weekends of wine tours.

Come and explore the Minervois wines of the Occitanie region of South France. Previous Long Weekend of Wine tours have been such fun and a great success, so we’re thrilled to launch a new series of hosted wine experiences for 2026, and this time they won’t just be for weekends, offering even more flexibility for groups looking to immerse themselves in the authentic Languedoc.

 A brief history…

The Minervois is one of the Languedoc’s most historic wine regions, with roots stretching back to Roman times. Once known for rustic country wines, it has been transformed in recent decades by innovative, quality-driven winemakers. Today, the Minervois produces expressive, elegant wines that reflect its diverse soils, Mediterranean climate, and centuries of tradition — making it one of southern France’s most exciting appellations.

Experiencing small award winning Minervois domains…

Each and every long weekend of wine tour is bespoke and designed around groups of friends who want to discover together the dynamic wines of the Languedoc. Enjoy private tastings by vineyard owners to memorable authentic restaurant and home cooked meals to gentle countryside walks, every moment is curated to showcase the best of the Minervois region and beyond.

Your home throughout the experience will be La Souqueto B&B, where relaxed luxury meets the easy hospitality we’re known for. Private transport will be arranged for the tour, including airport transfers from Carcassonne or Béziers**

Guests enjoy our charming, authentic and comfortable accommodation, delicious breakfasts and home cooked regional meals accompanied with local award winning wines hand selected by a local wine specialist and writer.

And here’s something special:

If you organise a group of three or four couples, you’ll receive complimentary accommodation for the weekend in the Apartment’s twin bedroom. It’s our way of saying thank you.

“The true Languedoc…”

Chris & Laura L. attended one of our events and have captured the spirit of these weekends beautifully:

“Beyond all the obvious pleasures of the Minervois is a door, behind which lies the true Languedoc. Jon & Mel, through their experience of the area and relationships formed, are key to these authentic pleasures. They have taken time to find those secret places that stay with you forever — the family winery that welcomes you at the gate, the modest bistro that delivers the most memorable meal, the view that makes you say ‘I’m really here. It’s exactly this sense of discovery, of going beyond the guidebooks, that shapes the itinerary”.
