Distillerie Petit Grain
Don’t know about you, but we love a Gin & Tonic! And, we’ve found an Award winning Distillery in Saint-Jean Minervois, half an hour from La Souqueto B&B!
Patricia and Laurent owners of Distillerie Petit Grain are both teachers living in the village of Saint Jean Minervois, traditionally a Muscat producing area of the Languedoc.
Gin production is 100% Artisanal
The husband and wife team’s hobby has grown into an award winning Gin distillery! Working from a converted stable alongside their house, Patricia and Laurent’s work is 100% Artisanal – everything is done by hand!
They both go to great lengths to capture the flavours of the fruits they use – Apricots, Pears and recently, Cherries. The fine details of production should be left to Patricia and Laurent to explain.
Our visit to their Distillery was fascinating. We highly recommend a visit and a tasting when you stay at La Souqueto B&B. We always have a bottle of their gin on the go!
